I say it’s deserted now.
They are in the Crystal Empire as Shimmering Spectacle said. I don’t know yet if the Crystal Empire exists in this Equestria. Got to wait and see to find out, BP. :)
With most of the magic gone, I fear that it’s citizens may have abandoned the empire when the frozen north overtook it.
