Description

When I was a little filly, a galloping blaze overtook my city
So they shipped me off to the orphanage. Said, “ditch those roots if you wanna fit in”
So I dug one thousand holes and cut a rug with orphan foals
Memories are blurred, and their faces are obscured, but I still, know the words to this song

When you’ve bungled all your bangles
And your loved ones have been mangled
Listen to the jingle jangle
Of my gypsy tambourine

‘Cause these chords are hypnotizing
And the whole world’s harmonizing
So please children stop your crying
And just sing along with me

More like boring as hell. What’s the fun in hanging out with a person if they never do anything memorable or out of the ordinary?
@HJSDGCE
It’s from one of the episodes of “Friendship is Witchcraft”. “Cherry Bomb”, I think.

I think it is just to give a possible idea of what the bomb would look like while it is being torn up by a vampire baby.
Think of it like one of those pokémon inside anatomy and mating habit images.

Wallet After Summer Sale -

Anything “bad” bronies do will be seen as much worse than it really is because “It’s a little girls cartoon!”. Peoples main complaint with bronies seems to be the fact that ponies are everywhere, but whether or not the people complaining about that are overreacting is debatable.

I just chock the Brony movement up to the whole “New Sincerity” Post-Post Modern mindset.

The slow eraser of gender norms, the rise of the “meme” culture, the slow death of the post-modern cynicism, the “art explosion”, etc.

okay, that was a little silly

but in all seriousness, this is the actual comment

“Yeah.

That said, I’m actually going to step in here and defend the bronies. I’m not a brony myself, but I’ve watched the show and I think all their points about what makes it a good show are valid. There’s just this stigma around it because it’s “meant for little girls”. Here’s why I don’t have a problem with that: I was always a tomboy and still am. When I was a little girl, I hated anything that was supposed to be “for girls”. I wanted to play with trucks, play video games, do sports, and you know what? Most people didn’t give me any crap about it. They thought it was cool that a girl wanted to do those things. Part of that might be a result of feminist thinking, you know, but all the same, no one cared that I wanted to be “one of the boys”. To this day, I prefer doing stereotypically masculine things and no one cares or thinks it’s strange or creepy. It’s progressive, feminist. But then, you have these guys that enjoy a show that’s supposed to be for little girls and suddenly that’s weird or creepy. It doesn’t matter what points these guys bring up about why they like the show, they’re told that they’re creepy pedophiles or something, and I think this just has a lot to do with traditional views on what guys are supposed to be like. We’ve since gotten past girls wanting to do “guy things”, but we can’t get past guys liking girl things. I, for one, don’t see any problem with guys liking typically feminine things. That’s alright by me, but it doesn’t seem to be alright for most people and I can’t really understand that.

Also, it’s not weird for young men to like watching other kids’ shows like Adventure Time, but it is, apparently, when that show is aimed at girls. That’s just…I don’t get that.

All that said, this newest My Little Pony incarnation is not at all like its predecessors. It’s not watered down and fluffy like the old ones were. It’s intelligent and witty and doesn’t talk down to its audience like past incarnations did. When I was a little girl, I absolutely did NOT like My Little Pony because of this. If it had been like Friendship is Magic, I might have enjoyed it.

Uh, anyway…I think that’s about all I have to say. So…in summary, crazies exist in every fandom so none of the stuff here surprises me, and guys liking My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic doesn’t bother me at all and I wish people would stop bullying them for it.

The End.”
