Tell Your Tale is really fun actually!

It’s a big loss for everyone who (like I initially) didn’t want to give it a chance just because of the preview images and unexpected style.

It’s a lot more fun than Pony Life.

Also, it’s not really G5.5 , it’s actually set in the same continuity like the whole G5. Both MYM and TYT are the same important to watch.

I take back what I said. Tell Your Tale is not bad at all, it’s actually like a thousand times better than Pony Life. And I like Zipp’s design, she has even become my favorite G5 pony.

You’re not getting it. The point is if you were to plop the characters from let’s say a Disney Show (ie. Gravity Falls) next to characters from a Cartoon Network (ie. Steven Universe), there would be a stark contrast. Whoever made that stupid
comparison meme tried to draw the characters so they would look like they were all drawn the same, when that’s not really the case if you use the actual official art/models.

For the record, I’m not saying you can’t dislike the designs. Even I take issue with how they stylized the legs and drew Hitch’s face, but I’m not going to be melodramatic about it like some people are being. If this were the style of the main series, I can understand being upset. However, it’s not. Unless you can see into the future, we don’t know what Tell your Tale is going to be like. We don’t even have a trailer out yet, so there’s really no point in getting Ass mad about it. Pony Life didn’t kill the fandom, and I don’t think this side series will do it either.

This was literally described as a series of shorts leading up to the main show, and the main show WILL be CGI. It’s pointless to get angry about what it’s gonna be a footnote in G5.

Didn’t really disprove anything there… Also no-one is saying the show will be bad because of the style. We know this will be bad because they already did it and it was bad before. This is just Pony life 2.

People need to stop suggesting we give it a chance. And Hasbro need to know that pumping out their cashgrab lazy series does have consequences. This needs to be shamed. It’s the only thing we as fans can do. Don’t let the hate stop.

The art style I can live with. The change of VAs after only one entry fills me with trepidation, however.

About the Calarts argument, I can never get over people using that argument against Gravity Falls and The Amazing World of Gumball. It’s as if people forget characters like Grunkle Stan, Ford, Bill Cipher, and Soos exist, and how many CGI rendered characters and funny expressions are in TAWOG.

Using that incorrect, poorly researched, disingenuoua meme doesn’t help your case. All those heads in that image you posted aren’t official renders, they’re basically fanart. This is what they actually look like in comparison.

Not all modern cartoons look the same.
