Omega never had Gamma’s data. This is evidently another Archie thing. In the games, Omega rebelled because Eggman essentially did too good a job on him and gave him enough independant thinking to be pissed off upon being ditched after Eggman decided to scrap the E-series.
Well Archie isn’t necessarily bad, It extends the population and areas of Mobius and has side-stories with plot twists and all that. The only thing I hate about it in particular is Sally because she’s a fucking mary-sue bitch. And now She’s a roboticized bitch. But putting that aside. Omega has gamma’s data and if I remember correctly, it changed him… well slightly. He’s still pissed off at Eggman, but until then, he’s still working with Shadow and Rouge as Team Dark.
Egh, I actually hate that.. what’d they do to Omega’s personality? This is why I don’t read Archie - it’s just too heavy on the ‘drama fanfiction’ level of writing and diverges so heavily away from what the characters are supposed to behave like it just comes off as.. well, yeah, bad fanfiction.
Archie!Omega needs his own game, plain and simple.
I mean look at him.
Y’know, the Archie Sonic comic version of Omega is pretty cool. I also liked his cheesy lines in Sonic Heroes.

MLP’s best weapon: a Superpowered blast with the six Elements of Harmony. Usually used in final confrontations with the biggest of evils.
Sonic’s best weapon: a Superpowered transformation with the seven Chaos Emeralds. Usually used in final confrontations with the biggest of final bosses.
Similar friends; Twilight and Tails for the brainiac. Applejack and Knuckles for the kind and honest, yet obscenely strong type. Rarity and Rouge for the gem-loving, “sexy” sort. Fluttershy and Cream for the tender, caring, weak-but-still-helpful woobie types (don’t provoke them, however). Pinkie Pie and Amy for the overly cheerful, yet slightly-crazy types (whatever you do, don’t break a Pinkie Promise/anger them).

Half of the Sonic fandom believes Shadow is a robot in certain games.
