Being a Catholic myself…I don’t know how I feel about that last remark (it seems a bit offensive to me).
Isn’t that the whole point of the “After eating the apple, Adam and Eve covered their bodies because thet felt shame” thing?

The ancient Greeks portrayed their gods and goddesses in the nude because, being gods and goddesses, their bodies were perfect and had no flaws to conceal. Unlike us mortals, who think our bodies need to be hidden because face it, how many of us are supermodels?

Being a Catholic myself…I don’t know how I feel about that last remark (it seems a bit offensive to me).
Regardless, they would never show ‘naughty bits’ in MLP to begin with because that is predominantly a franchise made for children, who shouldn’t be exposed to that sort of thing. Not only that, but due to the characters being cartoon as well as fantastical, the artists can take certain liberties with their anatomy.

well they dont have visible naughty bits so nothing to be embarrassed over. plus the only reason we humans are embarrassed/ashamed of being naked is because of religious reasons. mostly Catholics and Christians because they believe nudity will upset god.

Ironic how Smolder is more embarrassed about wearing clothes as opposed to not wearing clothes.
Really shows how different the characters of MLP perceive clothing compared to people in the real world.
