It’s kind of logical, that an alicorn has the magic of all 3 races, then the amulet will charge a pony depending on its race.
Well in canon, only a unicorn had put it on, so no one’s really sure if the amulet would give a horn to a pegasus or an earth pony.

If I’m not stupid enough saying this, that amulet was already hidden somewhere in Twilight’s universe. There’s no way in hell that alicorn amulet should still be existing in Sunny’s universe.
Ha! This is what people originally have been saying last summer before the true and real antagonist revealed is Sprout Cloverleaf.
