My thoughts exactly. I say Starlight takes up less than half the blame, because she was trying to make the best out of a situation/make it work because rejecting her on the spot seems harsh on paper

I mean, to be fair, while Starlight did keep Trixie in the running against her better judgment, she also did try to explain to Trixie that she wasn’t showing herself in good standing for the position, but Trixie was too caught up in her own ego to listen.
