My Little Pony G5 - TV Series development by Claudio Naccari on ArtStation
These are some development concepts for a My Little Pony G5 2D show pitch done in 2019 at Boulder Media, before the project was placed on hold.
It was a fun collaboration between myself (Character Concept Art), Finnbarr Martin (Art Direction), @Piotr Bzdura (Concept Art), Paul O’Flanagan (Direction), and Gillian Comerford (Direction).
The bean mouth only seems to be there when he’s doing that chad grin–you can see here that he doesn’t have it.
These designs would’ve decreased the bean mouths. WHY WERE WE ROBBED?!
I almost purely wish Tell Your Tale went with one of these designs purely due to how awful Hitch’s design looks in the series.
What, were they hard to animate or something? We should’ve gotten THESE designs for Tell Your Tale. Especially as the show ties more and more to the main story.
