I agree.
👍
Indeed.
Who cares if it was a lackluster of an announcement, just be glad that we are getting the game at all.
You are correct, which is why I said it was a complaint in general towards the video game industry rather than Mane6. On the other hand, what Mane6 did was not showing anything.
Exactly! That’s what I said before.
refer to my previous comment
All fighting games do the same thing with their season passes. Strive is doing it, Tekken 7 did it, Street Fighter V did it, hell, SMASH BROS ULTIMATE DID IT TOO. It’s a fine business model.

Thanks for the idea but when I buy a game I prefer that this is my library
Have faith in Mane 6
Games do this all the time. It’s not the first time it happened.
the maretime bay game is short enough that it could be 100%ed within steam’s “2 hour playtime” refund period

Why did they even post this if there’s nothing actually being offered yet? It’s a very strange thing to do. It came off as greedy up until I saw that you can’t actually buy the passes yet. But they’re advertising for the passes, without the content, and whilst that doesn’t smell so rotten, it still smells odd. This was just such a pointless thing to show off this early.
The devs mentioned there will be more details at the PC Gaming Show on July 12th. Chances are they are saving the character announcement for that.
They got bought out by Modus which means more $$$ and human resources and thus faster production time.
Typically for fighting games Season Passes are permanent - they’re just DLC bundles.
