Cheers. There are a lot of intricacies to this series that if one overlooks, changes everything for the wrong.
Yeah, I was questioning if The Cakes would be so cruel to Pinkie, and considering this comic, it would make more sense if it’s Pinkie Pie’s own impulses that make things difficult for herself.
That is also incorrect. The Cake’s never cut her wages. The Cake’s had to raise rent and in doing so, they still kept it at 50% under the market value. The issue was with this new increase, Pinkie Pie couldn’t afford it because PP spends too much money on random junk.
Oh, well at least Twilight is teaching her the importance of saving money.
In an earlier comic, the Cakes said they had to cut her wages due to going through a rough patch in the business. That meant that she couldn’t cover the rent with just her job at the bakery which is why she’s doing this job.
