Today’s prompt: Draw a pony up to no good / Draw a pony with twisted thoughts.
I drew Cozy Glow during the last NATG, but I felt she was a perfect choice for this prompt as well. Now that we know what she’s really like thanks to the Season 8 finale, and taking in how much fun she must’ve had coming up with those bogus answers on her test in Marks for Effort (“Who is the Princess of Friendship? Your mom!”), it would totally make sense for her to come up with practical jokes that she could potentially plant without implicating herself, taking a leaf from Rainbow Dash and Pinkie’s book of pranks.
The caramel-coated onions are based on a prank I actually heard about as a kid, and the Rubik’s cube with two of its colors swapped to make it unsolvable is from an episode of Whatever Happened to Robot Jones?, if anyone remembers that show. The trick gum is somewhat based on something similar from Peewee’s Big Adventure, and the skunk-scented perfume isn’t really based on anything, though it feels like the sort of thing Cozy would get up to.
You do bring up fair points. I hadn’t really considered those angles. This idea seemed a lot better in my head, truth be told, lol.
