I definitely agree with you. The funny thing is I would think that, due to the engine already being complete, and the character models for all the central ponies being made, adding additional content wouldn’t be all that difficult. But instead of adding more features that could improve the longevity of the game, Hasbro lets it fade into obscurity.
It’s quite sad, really, because on paper it’s a really fun game. It just needed a lot more content.

To think this Gameloft mobile game has more content than the ‘My Little Pony: a Maretime Bay Adventure’ console game….
Sure, it isn’t 3D, but in terms of content it really shows how lacking that latter game really was. That’s why people continue to play this game years after it was released. I highly doubt AMBA will have the same level of longevity.
