Poor Misty. Hopefully she’ll reform and join the main cast. And if she doesn’t I’ll be SUPER disappointed 😔.

At this point, I just want to see the Mane Five fight Opaline already so that Misty could tell Opaline to fuck right off.

Seems like it, I don’t really know why Opaline keeps her anyway, only as henchmen? For some powerful Pony, she seems dumber compared to last four MLP villains who failed badly, they should know by now friendship is too powerful. I hope Misty joins the group and sees that Opaline is nothing more than a careless hypocrite who caused the ponies to turn on each other the third time.

Imagine if this happened at some point in the future, if Opaline prepares to harm Sunny, only for Misty to intervene.

Misty… that poor mare. Trapped in a emotionally abusive situation where she is little more than a tool for Opaline’s quest for power. If nopony rescues her out of this depressive situation, I hope after her experiences in Maretime Bay, she’ll see that she has far better options.

But if and when the inevitable ‘mistreated induced betrayal’ occurs, all I can say for Opaline is this;

Opaline said she rescued Misty when she was a filly, and given Misty’s ignorance of the culture of most places, it’s implied that Opaline raised her. Poorly, I should add. Opaline didn’t socialize her or anything, and she clearly cares so little for Misty that it’s infuriating. Opaline is essentially an abusive (adoptive) mother to Misty, and Misty “puts up” with her because she’s her mother and Misty is too scared to try and fend for herself.

Actual abused children simply “put up” with their parents because they just think it’s normal. They don’t realize just how bad their parents are until they get older, talk with people, look around, and discover that their “reaaally strict” parents were not normal and not okay.

Misty is one of the best-written characters in this show so far, and I’m eager to see where her story goes.

I felt so bad for Misty when I watched the episode. I’m looking forward to see her getting her Cutie Mark and freedom.

I feel bad for Misty, she deserves better than be working for a jerk/loser like Opaline! I don’t know how she puts up with her when she treats her so poorly, and I don’t even know why she even kept Misty before Sunny and her friends restored magic and brought the pony kinds back together! )=<

yeah plus knowing that she doing it cause she just wants a cutie mark, it’s the same desperation that tempest went though, in wanting her horn repaired, and ultimately got use of the storm king just using all the power for himself, so I wouldn’t be surprised if opaline is using misty just to get what she deserves.

I know she will change, especially since she met the mane 5 she wouldn’t want to loose her new friends.

after seeing her so scared when looking the partial power opaline would have, I really hope she changes for the better, before it gets any worst.
