There are many running Gags, in the Make your mark its always something landing on her Horn (in Part 2 it was a Tomato).

Izzy has had a lot of Pinkie Pie-esque moments, but this one takes the cake.

I don’t see how you can look at that one-man band thing and not think she’s pretty much the reincarnation of Pinkie.

Oh, and one more thing: Izzy’s drumstick has a tennis ball on it! XD

In G5 there’s Posey, who was in G1 with an similar Bow on the Tail, just bigger.

In G4 Posey is Fluttershys Mom and the Basis for G2 Sky Skimmer, G3 Fluttershy and G4 Fluttershy.

I must say that Izzy’s One-Man Band set doesn’t just play music, it can also blow bubbles and blow out cookies and find one of these super cool & amazing!

I think many Ponys in g5 are inspired by G4 ones, like Lauren Faust has do it with G4 Ponys, who are inspired from G1 and G3.5:

Izzy is Pinkie with the Designtalent of Rarity.
Sunny is Scootaloo with a bit of Twilight.
Hitch is Flash Sentry with some Fluttershy.
Pipp is Rarity with some of Diamond Tiara.
Zipp is Spitfire who had a Crash into an Toothpaste filled Soft Ice Machine.^^
The Hippy Guy in the Movie who was the Anouncer in the Dance Battle is Tree Hugger as Male.
Queen Haven is a Mix of Spoiled Rich and Major Mare (by the Way, Queen is usual used for Villians).
Alphabittle I can’t sort in, he is like a mix of an Anime Fighter Character and an Ferengi.
Sparky is maybe a Try to replace Spike with an Twilight Hint in the Name
Opaline is Nightmare Moon with Tirek, in cheap.
