Expecting more in a villian for MLP? Wtf? A power seeking villian works and it always will. Using the typical excuse of a generation leap in our day in age to describe something you believe should be done away with, especially for a show primarily targeted towards kids won’t improve the situation and little kids won’t like mature villians who are always serious or even worse, the type of villian that’s not really a villian because they were just “misunderstood” by trying to commit specific crimes because they believe that it was the right thing to do. We have way too much of that in games and movies. We have plenty of mature villians used elsewhere in other media. They don’t need to be in a children’s setting.

I’ve assumed since the primary audience for the IP overall is elementary school kid-aged, said primary viewership will be mostly elementary school kid-aged. That’s the entire point of having generations… <3<
