Just something to keep in mind the next time someone praises it.
The problem comes from the fact that comic sans tries to emulate handwriting. And sometimes an emulation can become uncanny valleyish, thats why people hate it.
Actually it’s Good Intentions Gone Oversaturated, it was used so much back in the 90’s that the movement against it started. Even the artist/letterer who inspired the font said he doesn’t like the font.
