The fact that we get so worked up over a female character wearing tuxedo means we learned nothing from MLP.

I don’t understand. Why was Zipp wearing a tuxedo in that episode? Zipp is a female!

I’m a guy who suffers from a neurological disability, and I would get angry if someone were to slap my back. It’d hurt like hell for over an hour.

The girl that got slapped hard had really short hair. Um, like a kind of like punk-like spikey short hair look like the ones that most guys usually wear so I’m not surprised that she got mistaken for a dude and wearing that tuxedo really didn’t help her. If she had worn a normal prom dress for girls then the guys wouldn’t have slapped her back so hard. I’m sure she’s learned her lesson and won’t wear a tuxedo again unless she has longer hair on her and is wearing girl’s make-up too. And yes, she wasn’t wearing any make-up when the guys slapped her back. I think she really was trying to look like a guy and surprise. It worked and she got back slapped hard by other guys.

She had to sit down and wait for a bit for the back pain to go away but she got back up later and went to the prom. I never asked her why she was wearing a tuxedo because I figured that she was gay and I didn’t want to embarrass her so I just kept my mouth shut and minded my own business.

I’m pretty sure they didn’t MISTAKE her for a stallion, dude. Girls can wear tuxes, too 🤨 And it goes much better with Zipp’s personality. She’s all about rejecting high-class femininity and being true to herself and her own expression.

And what kind of girls have you met that they’re mistaken for guys just for wearing a tux lmao And what kind of dumb guys do you have around you? The average woman can wear a tux and still distinctly look like a woman.

Zipp almost looks like a dude pony in that tuxedo. It clearly was a bad idea for Hasbro to put Zipp in a tuxedo and I hope that the next time she will be wearing a dress at a formal or a dance.

Since Zipp wore a girl’s cooking apron in the latest ep. it seems that Hasbro realized that Zipp was a girl pony and they probably felt really stupid for mistaking Zipp for a dude pony in ‘the baby critters’ ep. Hopefully, Hasbro’s learned their lesson and will make Zipp wear a girl’s dress in the next formal or dance ep.

And yes, most guys usually mistake tomboy girls or normal girls for another guy if they’re not wearing their girl dresses and slap their backs hard for ‘Good Luck getting the girl’ thing. And you girls don’t want to get slapped on your backs hard now and get hurt, do you? If not, then do the proper thing and wear a girl’s dress and your backs will thank you for it. And yes, I’ve seen that happen a lot in the past. It usually ends up with the girls saying, “Damn it, why did you slap my back so hard?! I’m a girl, stupid!” and the guys will say, “Oh, shit! I’m sorry! I thought you were one of the guys.”

Still appreacite that Zipp got a bowtie rather than a dress, though. Glad they’re really letting her be a tomboy!

Zipp’s coat allows her to look dapper with just a tie and collar. Sadly the same can’t be said for Hitch.
