“Hey everyone. A couple of friends and I are starting something called TiGao () project. means to improve.
Our mission is to improve our art by opening our perspectives by learning other artists styles, and then using these newly gained perspectives to improve our own art.
Our 3-step process begins by recreating a piece of art by a selected artist. Through this recreation, we see the different methods our selected artist uses to define his or her unique style.
The next step involves creating an original piece that nearly emulates the chosen artists style, to the point that you cant even tell that it was not by this artist.
The third and final step, is to use our experiences with the selected artists style to improve our own art.
We will soon have a jointly-owned deviant art page as well as a tumblr. (Which I will post as soon as we create them)

It’s good that you think so. I don’t know if every artist out there would agree, but it’s still a nice take on it.
kind of like the “different styles” challenges people do on DA where they try and replicate different artists and shows
I think the point isn’t to integrate styles, moreso to see art from a different perspective.
