Rules for shipping your OC with canon characters:

Don’t do it.
If you are going to do it, pick a nice background character and leave the main/mane cast alone.
You can draw your OC interacting with one of the mane cast members, but if it’s more romantic than non-romantic mundane interactions and chit-chat, then it should end in either a) your OC getting shot down, preferably in tears; or b) your OC getting kicked in the face or genitals, or roasted if for some reason you shipped your OC with Spike.
