When you talk to someone you think is a child, but it turns out they’re just a very short adult.
Given Mul’s preferences, I would imagine that this has happened to her a not-inconsiderable number of times.
Not sure if people even remember, but there is an actual canon character from the show that would more than qualify for this sort of mistake.
