I’ve never seen her be referred to as the Princess of Friendship. Please pull up a comic episode that happens. AT&F has made it pretty clear she isn’t a princess.

Actually, they have called her Princess. Multiple times, in fact. She’s not the “Princess of Friendship”, for nothing, you know.
Her princess status didn’t matter when it would be funny in the show too, so not much difference.
your current filter.They’ve never said she is a princess. Other then very early on, but in the past five or so years, she’s been more or less an ambassador or some government thing. Princess is never used.
