I haven’t listened to “Don’t Lose Your Groove” or “Opaline” yet because I’m trying to wait until they show up in a TYT episode - but it’s tough to avoid the temptation.

Y’know, I remember that Zipp toy where a “Bridlewoodstock” music festival was mentioned in the description, and it was kind of implied that that might be featured in one of the two remaining MYM specials. The reason why I bring this up is that I wonder if “Don’t Lose Your Groove” might be featured in the TYT episode that ties directly into that (possible) special.

Just in keeping with the tradition started by FiM, where the songs were often - not always, but often - the best part of the episode they were featured in.

Of course, change that qualification to “one of the best parts” rather than “best part”, and the former becomes “almost always”.

Me & My Delusions

Opaline’s song is oddly reminiscent of Blue Öyster Cult and Don’t Lose Your Groove makes me happy since I ship Hitch and Zipp.

I’m starting to think that the songs are best part of Tell Your Tale.

I know it’s pretty great!

I think it makes sense Pipp would be front and center on soundtracks and albums considering she’s the one in the group that is a professional singer/musician.

And I guess that’s why Pipp seems to have the most amount of songs.
