“I don’t really like the image of King Sombra in the canon: he’s a plane and cliche villain, but sometimes fanfiction makes him really much more interesting and/or intimidating. Here I tried to capture this feeling of demonic-ness and fear. And also I really like drawing metal on armor. And of course I’m fascinated with what you can do to MLP if you add more fantasy elements to it.
Do you like this rendition of Sombra? What do you think might be his story or role with this look? And do you know any fanfics where he is depicted with more drama and character than usually?”
