Interesting, and a shame really, I mean, I don’t know which one’s the better plane in the end, or rather, would have been, but the Tomcat is just so much better looking than the Hornet!
F-21 is the common name for the Grumman ST-21 upgraded F-14 concept that never went anywhere, the F-21 designation is also currently used by Lockheed Martin for an upgraded F-16C block 70 that they want to sell to India.
