IDK what to make out of your words: either dumb generalization or just dumb stereotyping. And how convenient you only quoted some stuff from used #9492 except the most important and which is the main point of his response (I’m sure he’d agree with me): “He’s actually a nice guy from what we saw of him in the show”. Which is most lIkely true. We get it, you hate rich people; they’re evil. So therefore…. Mr. Filthy is too? Dat logic!!

You’re right, not all rich people are evil and greedy, however most of them are. There are indeed some people out there who are rich because of hard work, ethics, and genuine talent.

On the topic of pony, I would like to think FP/Fleur de Lis are in this category.

Many rich folks are egotistical, and greedy, and what have you.

But not all of them.

You had it right with your first post, someguy. Or at least until the last sentence you did.

Yet, some rich people donate to charities, give people jobs, and such.

You realize why they donate right? Taxes. Giving money to charities is a great way to reduce tax liability. Many of these charities are set up by the individual to donate to which somehow help his business. For example the Koch brothers, rwo extremly wealthy oil barons in the US set up a charity to help save the planet from greenhouse gases. Instead an independent organization did some digging and found out that the money that they as well as many others were donating was actually going to fund climate-change denial programs and issue “global waring is a lie” pamphlets to school children in Texas. Gotta teach them kids the right way before they learn to think for themselves. I had a link to the article but I lost it. As far as give people jobs? Of course they give people jobs, but that doesn’t mean much. Many of those people are severely underpaid and are treated poorly, provided they even work here in the US and are not being paid 2 dollars a day in some 3rd world country whose cheap labor they are exploiting.

contribute to society with their businesses
How? By forcing smaller family owned companies out of business? By hiring underqualifed workers so they can pay them as little as possible while giving the customer awful service while knowing the customer has no choice but to deal with it because they have a monopoly in that area? By bribing politicans and city officials to build a factory right next to a neighboorhood and dump poisonous chemicals in the the lakes and rivers?

More poorer people steal from people, and commit more crimes then rich people.
Because many of them have no choice. It’s either steal money and/or food or starve. If the rich were in the same position they would do the same thing.

America is the only country where so-called “poor” people are fat, and have plasma screen TVs thanks to leeching off welfare, and the tax-payers, rather then use it for it’s intended purpose of helping people get back on their feet, and help them get jobs, or help their families.
I agree to an extent. Some people do indeed abuse the system, but most of them just need some help. It’s sad that just because a small percent have to be sleazy that the honest people should have to suffer. What’s more is yes, there is a limit on welfare which really sucks because there are people who have been laid off and have been trying to get a job for months but because the job market is so bad they just can’t find work and yet they will soon lose their benefits and be out on the street. Maybe those uber-rich should set up a charity to help these people since it is partly through their monopolization, downsizing, and outsourcing that so many people out there are out of work.

I’ll be sure to yell that at Bill Gates’ face if I’m ever at one of his presentations.
“STOP CURING DISEASES, YOU SICK BASTARD”

Or George Lucas the next time he donates millions to education.

Yet, some rich people donate to charities, give people jobs, and such. Not all of them are bad, greedy, and such, and some of them help people, and contribute to society with their businesses. I’ve known some very nice wealthier people personally.
So it’s ignorant to say rich people are the cause of all the problems in this country, and such.

And it’s not like all poorer people are all good either. More poorer people steal from people, and commit more crimes then rich people. Some so-called “poor” people abuse the American welfare system, (which is contributing to making the economy worse) rather then work, and contribute to society, and just lazilly do nothing, but make money off the tax-payers, and the people who actually work.
I’m not saying poor people are bad, (I’m kinda poor to) but look at other countries, America is the only country where so-called “poor” people are fat, and have plasma screen TVs thanks to leeching off welfare, and the tax-payers, rather then use it for it’s intended purpose of helping people get back on their feet, and help them get jobs, or help their families.
(I hear they’re going to put limits hopefully on how long they can use welfare though to prevent people from abusing the system though.)

“and he’s rich, she’d set for life”
Not always. A lot of rich people hide their assets from their spouses since when (not if but when) they get divorced the spouse won’t take half of his assets which is why she married him in the first place. When rich people get married it is almost never for love. Marriage to them is more of a financial tool to protect wealth from taxes and help with PR for themselves and their business. In fact many marriages for the rich are almost like business mergers, instead of wedding planners they have lawyers and accountants. Despite how nice it must seem to be married to a rich person, you must realize they don’t really love you (if they are even capable of love except for the love of money and power) and only want you as a tool to help them get even richer, a prenup is almost mandatory too. Just read about rich people getting divorced and how many months it takes to divide assets and what a hassle it is with all the red tape and such. I’d much rather be married to someone who I truly love regardless of their financial status.

“Never understood why the media always tries to label all rich people as “evil,” or “greedy.”
That’s because the vast majority of them are. I should know I have met some very wealthy people and none of them I would want to be within 100 feet of. Everything to them even human life is nothing but an exploitable commodity to them. You, your life, your happiness, and everything around you has a price tag on it which they somehow want to manipulate to their own advantage. I was offered a “job” buy a business scout who was a member of some internet marketing pyramid scheme that made money off of referrals. Basically If I told you to shop at a specific store online and you bought something I would make money. What they don’t tell you is YOU are the one was does all the hard work while the higher-ups are the ones that make the money. It’s their way of getting very cheap labor, and since it’s based off of commission and that I would be technically self-employed, there is no minimum wage limits so they can go right ahead and screw me over all they want while promising me hundreds or even thousands a month when I would really be making just pocket change. And that’s not the worst of it, this company thrives off of stores closing down and laying off workers so as to downsize and decrease overhead and moving their stores online. They want stores to downsize because that is what their business is built off of. But the thing is when a company downsizes and closes stores it lays people off. The guy talking to me said that Best Buy is the 3rd largest employer of college students in the country and they can’t wait for more stores to close down even though it means many students will be laid off and have no way to pay for their tuition or living expenses. but who cares, right? As long as we are making money and the big guys can afford a new car and a nice house while all the little people like you that we try to sucker in are doing all the work, so what if we are encouraging these stores to close down and prevent these people from getting an education? If anything now they will be unemployed and we can take advantage of their financial desperation and sucker them in to this too.
Yes, rich people are evil.

Why? He’s actually a nice guy from what we saw of him in the show, (and he’s rich, she’d set for life) unlike alot of other “rich” characters you see in cartoons.
