I freaking love armour on ponies. It’s not like designing clothes for them, because clothing materials are malleable and move with the body. Armour is made of hard materials that don’t deform with the body. So it has to be designed to incorporate feathered plates, hinges, and other ways to give flexibility, yet minimise pinch points and maximise protection.
