if someone is picking on you for ‘cheating’ on a pony waifu, or accusing you of ‘stealing’ their waifu in a non jokeing manner they have crossed that line and need to have a nice chat with a guy in a white coat and book a stay in a nice padded room.
Nobody has picked on me for “cheating” on a pony waifu in a non joking manner, although I do know someone here who has been picked on a lot for this, but I agree those people need to stop. Although my art did reach a point to where I couldn’t upload without background ponies starting shit which is one reason I stopped uploading art.

there comes a point when someone has taken something fictional to a point where they should seek professional help for an obvious problem

I’m sure Twilight Sparkle would forgive you if you she was real, who knows the universe is always growing, but that just seems like her. She’s logical, for the most part, and fair. Maybe she’d even find those hate arts oddly funny as satire but ultimately she’d probably think your an okay dude so would forgive you. Maybe even give a hug with her fluffy princess wings too! That’d be nice.
I totally agree about the waifu stuff, and will admit I’ve stumbled in that degree as I got interested Coloratura. But agree that it’s not all that important and just to have fun, enjoy art on the site and be chill.

This is true. I mean you don’t see me saying you’re a cheater when I’m with Coloratura do I. haha.
I don’t see anyone calling me out for this, though to be fair most people here don’t even remember when I shipped myself with Twilight or Octavia (if they ever knew to begin with).

Yes but people calling out other artists for “cheating” on their waifus is very real. I’ve seen it happen here and it’s stupid, but who the fuck cares what anyone thinks about fictional characters or “cheating” on them? People here can ship themselves with whoever the fuck they want.
But regardless, that hate art I drew of Twilight, I removed it here a long time ago, so if Twilight were real, maybe she would have forgiven me.
