When Giant Ponies and Creatures Attack - Episode 2 - A Sad Night in Boston! Princess Luna Attacks!
Summary: As nighttime approaches, Twilight Sparkle and her friends must save the people in Boston from a rampaging giant alicorn, Princess Luna, whose objective is to destroy everyone and everything in her path across the city.
It was 7:00 at night in Needham, Massachusetts. Twilight Sparkle and her friends are visiting the Webster family. The mother is Tiffany, the father is James, and the children are Sophia, the oldest, Liam, the middle one, and Avery, who is the youngest child.
“It is a pleasure seeing you all tonight!” Rarity told the family with her usual confident tone, appreciating them for letting her and her friends visit them for the night.
“No problem.” James chuckled, being friends with the Mane Six and knowing them for the first time. “Sophia and Avery, the daughters, enjoy seeing you ponies on television, and we always have been wondering they have loved you so much! Oh, isn’t that the greatest thing ever said, my wife?”
Tiffany responded, saying, “Impressive, I guess.”
Applejack and Pinkie Pie both introduced themselves to the daughters. “The name’s Applejack and this is my friend, Pinkie Pie.” Applejack said, greeting herself with Sophia and Avery.
“Yay! Seeing fans like you two really makes me excited!” Pinkie Pie said, hugging Sophia and then Avery, too.
“We wish we could visit your world one day.” Avery hoped she and Sophia can have a chance seeing the world Pinkie Pie and her friends came from. “It’ll be a huge blast once you take me and my older sister into place known as Equestria!”
“Furthermore, we will go on adventures together with these ponies!” Avery added.
Fluttershy, overhearing the conversation, was giggling. “That would sound fun, but humans don’t exist in Ponyville.” She reminded the children humans can’t be seen in Ponyville.
“Does that mean and my older sister turn into ponies if we enter Ponyville?” Avery asked the Mane Six, wondering whether this is true or not.
“I’m afraid you’ll end up as ponies when you enter Ponyville.” Rainbow Dash told Sophia and Avery, letting them know that humans will be ponies in the pony world, since there’s a change for that universe.
“Now that makes sense.” Liam said.
Twilight Sparkle, on the other hand, was talking with James and Tiffany. Just like with her friends, she was really enjoying being with the family.
“No surprise that your daughters just love us, they love watching the show.” Twilight Sparkle giggled, knowing Sophia and Avery love watching the show involving her and her friends. “I have respect for that.”
“Our oldest daughter is 14, and the youngest daughter is 7, and they always have been hoping for the day they would see you and the others, which was now.” Tiffany said.
“Don’t you love it when this alicorn interacts with young girls who are fans of her…?” James asked his wife while flirting with her.
Tiffany laughed, and then she replied, saying, “Oh, yes!”
Twilight’s friends are sitting on the couch with James coming along, who turned on the TV for them. Pinkie Pie was feeling excited to know what would be shown on the television, something that is entertaining and excellent.
“Time for some TV, girls!” Rainbow told her friends despite her face looking at the TV still.
“Ooh, what are we gonna see?” Pinkie Pie asked, curious what they would see now.
“Don’t rush, the TV screen will show up in a second. Let us not be so hasty.” Rarity reminded Pinkie Pie that rushing is not the best thing that gets the TV on.
When the screen turned on, it was showing the news, and the ponies hoped it was not something that would shock them. The channel shown on the television is NBC, and it depicts a man and woman together.
The anchorman started his speech as he was bringing in the breaking news, “Welcome, everyone around Massachusetts. This is Douglas Strickland and Savannah Hutchinson, presenting you all the recent breaking news happening in Boston right now. We have reports coming in from a guest who comes from that city. Jennifer “Jenny” Marshall, come on in.”
“I hope this isn’t some old garbage stuff I’m hearing…” Applejack looked bored, wishing she turned away from the TV at this point.
Back on the TV, Jenny, making her appearance as a guest for NBC Boston, began her statement, “Thanks, Douglas and Savannah. I have spotted a giant pony with wings and a horn wearing a black crown attacking my city and I came in just time give you the report as fast as I could.”
“A giant pony with wings and a horn wearing a black crown…?” Fluttershy looked confused.
“Hold a sec! They must be referring to Princess Luna!” Applejack shouted, revealing the truth who the news people are talking about.
The Webster Family and the Mane Six both looked shocked over this.
“As shown on camera, this particular pony you see is known as Princess Luna, who has been recently attacking Boston, killing multiple citizens, especially who are inside buildings, which have been destroyed and other buildings have been destroyed, left huge hoofprints from this cruel and ferocious alicorn.” Douglas showed the viewers what was on live cam.
“Her eyes were red and she’s just as evil as ever…” Jenny told the news people.
The news people understood Jenny’s words, and shortly afterwards, Savannah resumed herself on the report, telling the viewers, “Not only have the citizens been injured or killed, but we also have reports that several police officers involved defending the city from the malicious Princess Luna have been murdered by her when she used a magic blast wave wiping the entire crew out.”
“People are still trying to find somewhere safe from the destruction this alicorn is causing.” Douglas said, as the citizens need help searching for shelter.
“If there’s anyone who can stop Princess Luna from terrorizing Boston any further, please do it now!” Jenny shouted, warning the viewers that time is running out and it is wasting more unless any heroes can come in and save her city.
“She’s right. This pony is on the loose and everything will be destroyed if nobody stops her.” Douglas reminded the viewers.
“This is Savannah and Douglas, signing off.” Savannah ended the news report.
Tiffany turned the TV off, being completely disappointed that she and the others just heard something really shocking, and now knowing that Princess Luna is behind all the destruction in Boston, the Mane Six have no choice but to make a plan.
“I don’t understand why Princess Luna would wanna hurt the citizens like that.” Twilight Sparkle felt puzzled that she never saw Princess Luna acting so cruel, aside from her evil alter-ego, Nightmare Moon.
“This is stupid! Princess Luna is the villain?!” Applejack slammed her hoof on the floor, looking outraged.
“Looks like we have another friend turning evil and this is gonna be more challenging compared with the last one when we fought Spitfire in Philadelphia.” Rainbow Dash told her friends.
Before she and her friends could leave, Twilight Sparkle said her last words to the Webster Family: “Farewell. We have an important mission right now. Stay behind.”
The Webster Family waved goodbye at the Mane Six as Twilight Sparkle teleported herself and her friends to the city of Boston and stop Princess Luna from destroying Boston any further despite the huge chaos she has already caused.
Meanwhile, Princess Luna walked her way through the city, stomping loudly and watched as the citizens ran away from her terror, multiple finding someplace safe for shelter and hide from her destruction. Others ended up being caught in her path just as she fired magic blasts at buildings and people so she can see more things wiped out from the surface.
“Tremble in fear, because I, Princess Luna, will destroy you all!” She laughed evilly, having so much fun causing harm towards the citizens and the city itself.
While the large alicorn continued her stroll and causing more harm, a man from a flipped over car pulled out a gun at Princess Luna, firing a bullet, which hit from her behind, although it did absolutely nothing.
“Hmm?” Princess Luna wondered turning her head around and noticed the man who was shooting her from behind. She decided to walk towards him, thus he was next on the list.
“Stay away, you monster!” The man screamed as he fired more bullets from his gun at the giant Princess Luna who approached him even closer. The man tried firing some more blasts, but unfortunately, he soon realized there were no more bullets left inside his gun. He then threw it at Princess Luna, though she levitated the gun with her red magic and destroyed the gun, which was left into pieces.
The man looked horrified and scared as he could not do anything at this moment. “No, don’t you dare come any closer towards me!” He begged the massive sized alicorn to spare his life. However, Princess Luna was merciless and she would not let him live.
“It’s your fault for shooting at me, you little piece of trash!” Princess Luna told the man, dragging him out the flipped over car, levitating him towards her.
“No matter how big you are, I’ll avenge my family you’ve killed during your rampage!” The man shouted while struggling to break free from Princess Luna levitating him, but it was no use.
Princess Luna simply laughed at this, thinking the man was joking with her.
“You honestly believe a little insect like you can defeat me when I’m this huge and frightening, huh?!” Princess Luna asked the man, knowing that the man doesn’t have the strength in an attempt to stop her at all.
Giving the man the most painful punishment in his life, Princess Luna squeezed the man so hard, it was as if he was about to explode any second.
“Someone help me…” The man said as he was losing his breath.
“You’re finished! Die!” Princess Luna prepared to destroy the man and blow him into bits. But before she could kill him, a magic blast from behind hit one her legs from the back, making her drop the man forcefully.
When Princess Luna turned around, she looked back and saw Twilight Sparkle and her friends, who have no choice except fight her and save Boston and the other survivors.
“Alright, Princess Luna! This ends now!” Twilight Sparkle told Princess Luna, who is looking determined for the battle against Princess Luna, an ally and friend-turned-enemy. “We won’t let you get away with this! No more!”
“You’ve killed so much innocents, that you just don’t care for them!” Rainbow Dash remembered on the news about what Princess Luna has done.
“This is not the Princess Luna we know!” Applejack said, having never seen Princess Luna be this evil, aside from the time when she takes the form as Nightmare Moon. “You would never do something like this!”
Although Princess Luna appreciated the Mane Six for interrupting her from almost killing the man she was targeting, she still was slightly impressed for them arriving too late.
“No surprise that you six ponies out of any ponies could’ve stood in my way.” Princess Luna told Twilight Sparkle and her friends, wishing she could avoid fighting them for as long as possible. “But since you six are looking for a challenge, it seems I gotta fight you all. Bring it!” She ordered the six ponies to come at her with everything they have.
Twilight Sparkle and her friends charged at Princess Luna with all the power within them. Twilight Sparkle teleported herself so she could trick Princess Luna, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy fly past Princess Luna, and Rarity uses her magic, aiming at Princess Luna.
“All right, time we wrap this mare up, ladies!” Applejack pulled out her rope and she called Pinkie Pie for assistance so they could they do it together.
Applejack and Pinkie ran around Princess Luna through her front hooves, tying them up.
“Rainbow, Twilight, now!” Pinkie Pie yelled, telling them that they have the chance to attack Princess Luna at the right time.
“I’m on it!” Twilight and Rainbow said at the same time, both aiming at Princess Luna with a combo attack together. Twilight Sparkle fired magic blasts at the larger alicorn five times hitting her a little, and Rainbow Dash kicked Princess Luna in one of her front legs, making her fall down.
“She’s not defeated, but we do have her down for some time.” Fluttershy said, knowing that although the dark magic is extremely too powerful enough to control Princess Luna, coming up with a few tricks can keep her down.
Despite her front hooves tied up, Princess Luna used her magic cutting the rope and released her free, therefore she finally stood on all four legs again, shocking the Mane Six.
“What?! How? This is not impossible!” Rarity looked disgusted at this.
Princess Luna giggled, considering the trick Pinkie and Applejack used very useless. “Putting me down with just a rope doesn’t stop me from destroying this city.” She said, expecting the Mane Six came up with a better trick aside from the one they already had.
Eventually, seconds later, Princess Luna fired magic blasts at Twilight’s friends, and just as it was almost about to hit them, Twilight Sparkle teleported herself, standing before her friends, blocking the incoming blast, sending it somewhere else.
Twilight Sparkle suddenly flapped her wings up, preparing for a devastating attack with her horn.
“I’m gonna use all my powers to end this quickly!” Twilight Sparkle said, increasing magic and make it grow more powerful. “Come on, come on, Twilight… You can do this… Just push it even further, now…!” She said.
“Huh? What do you believe you are doing?” Princess Luna asked wondering what Twilight Sparkle was planning.
Twilight Sparkle unleashed her magic, which was full and she fired it directly Princess Luna, damaging her and she felt the power from Twilight’s horn. “N-No… This can’t be!” Princess Luna could no longer stand on her four legs. She soon fell to the ground, defeated.
With Princess Luna defeated and also knocked out cold, she returned to her normal size. However, she still could not back her regular self, as it would take a while for her to return to normal.
“Looks like it worked…” Applejack felt relieved that Princess Luna was defeated even though she can’t eventually be normal again just yet.
“How long until she becomes normal again?” Fluttershy asked her friends, wondering when Princess Luna can be a heroine again, as today is the not the day where she will redeem. “I feel sorry about how bad this was.”
In response to Fluttershy’s question, Rarity replied, telling her, “Remember, darling, just because Twilight Sparkle defeated Princess Luna doesn’t mean she will wake up. She’s unconscious. It could take a couple hours, maybe days, or something like that until she can be fully reformed.”
“If only Princess Celestia was with us, things would be better and she could take care of the situation.” Rainbow Dash said.
“It doesn’t seem that Celestia is around…” Twilight Sparkle told Rainbow Dash, realizing that Princess Celestia is nowhere to be found at this time. “And certainly I don’t have any clue where she is. I haven’t even been hearing a thing from her at all.”
“You don’t believe her older sister will be the next one that’ll end up under the influence of the dark magic, do you?” Pinkie Pie asked her friends.
The other ponies simply shrugged, not feeling so sure whether or not Pinkie Pie is right.
“I hope not, because if so, we’re in trouble!” Rainbow Dash said, knowing that she and her friends must not waste time and should continue their journey in search for the others across the world.
Twilight Sparkle created a portal and taking them somewhere else. She walked into the portal first, and her friends all followed behind her. Wherever the ponies are heading for right now is not determined, but can they search for Princess Celestia before she ends up turning up evil, too?
