Come on, he’s just a baby; give him some slack.

She tried to kill a baby, emotionally manipulated Misty while also lying and never having any desires to give her a cutie mark.
However i still think she can be redeemed. Misty still somehow respect her as she was raised by her. Opaline also didn’t abduct Misty. She got lost on her own and Opaline saved her. Opaline also is somewhat comedic rather than just brooding evil or cruel. That didn’t save Chrysalis who was similar but Opaline didn’t get second chances yet. She wasnt really defeated the first time.

She IS adorkable. But it’s also lightly implied she killed or otherwise disposed of all the princesses. So… redeemable by pony standards.

I didn’t like her when Make Your Mark started. I love her now.

And then she blast everyone off.
