…Stahp. You are Wrong. Conversation Over. Do not attempt to reply, As I have unsubscribed to this image.
Hell, the episode even built up to that, revealing logical reasons for every piece of Deceptive!Cadance’s bad behavior.
We saw Twilight both create and cast the spell.
Watch Celestia’s horn. The glowing effect that is used to show the audience that magic is happening is absent during that scene.
She didn’t CREATE the spell, Celestia simply USED it on her.
No, I was talking about the spell that Twilight created. The one that turned her into a winged unicorn, along with the Elements.
And then she got it all back when it turned out that Cadence really was an evil monster all along.
See what I’m getting at? What made episodes like Bridle Gossip so good for me was the fact that they showed that things aren’t always as they seem and that people usually aren’t as bad as one thinks they are.
If Cadence really had been a bitch and the episode had been about Twilight trying to get to know her and to cope, it would have sported a very interesting and very thought-provoking moral. But instead they went for the evil-bug-invasion-route. Not as strong, in my opinon.
She didn’t get away with it. She lost her friends’s, her brother’s and Celestia’s trust.
Kinda, yeah.
It’s just that all that jealousy Pinkie and Twilight show is deplorable. But Pinkie simply handled it way better, by overcoming her jealousy, giving Gilda several chances and even staying nice towards her until the very end.
Twilight just said “GRRRR, I HATE THIS PRINCESS NOW” and went on to ruin everyone’s day. And then she even got away with it. That is NOT a good moral.
Than you’re not talking about “bitch Cadance” at all, you’re talking about “jealous Twilight”,..
Because in the end both turned out to be jerks/evil. But what if that person being “mean and evil” is just your opinion? What if you just can’t see what the your friend sees in that person?
My point is, things in real life are never just black-and-white. That’s a very important moral, I believe.
She was RD’s friend, and they were “loving” each other. How is that different from your “bitch Cadance”?
Nope. That was simply:
Pinkie = Nice
Gilda = Mean.
But what do you do when the other person doesn’t let go? What do you do when you’re forced to interact with someone you don’t like? I wanna see something like that.
That was Starswirls destiny-changing spell, not an Alicornization spell.
Gilda the Griffon?
The thing is, Twilight’s friends didn’t ignore her concerns, it’s just that Twilight’s concerns amounted to being a huge bitch. She never actually tried to talk things out with Cadance, so as far as any of them could tell, Twilight was just throwing a temper tantrum.
You know what?
This episode would have been pretty god damn interesting if Cadence really was the bitch all along.
How does one act when someone close to you is in love with someone who you think is harmful to them?
That’s a moral I’d like to see.
I guess that’s the true meaning of friendship.
And following that, the true meaning is to just ignore all that and ditch a friend in despair at the altar while you go after said bitchy bride because she made you all Bridesmaids.
But don’t worry, apologize if she turned out to be a bug monster and everything will be sparkling good.
The spell that Twilight created over the course of the episode? No.
was that spell used BEFORE the events of MMC? If so, maybe Celestia caught on to it, and told her student about having patience, lest she become like her previous student, Sunset Shimmer.
No they haven’t. They got beat. They had to have Cadance and Shining Armor use the meaning of true love to kick the Queen out, and even then, the Queen shared the exact same flaw as every other villain and just go “Come at be bro!”
As near as I can tell, Twilight actually used a spell to cheat into getting her wings, rather than earning them honestly.
At least, if you take The Crystal Heart Spell as canon.
Nor should you.
Is this like a another storybook app with some added minigames?
