Ah, that seems to make sense. It didn’t occur to me that Flutter doll is supposed to be an actual inanimate doll (or at least expected to be one by AJ).
So here, after hearing the first line, AJ has a WTF moment and triggers the next line the doll says. Coincidentally it happens to be the laughtrack. Cue awkward/creepy silence.
Well, the translation is as follows:
“Today instead of Teddy Vermont [apparently the name of the teddy bear from other Houtai Applejack pics] I tried hugging Flutter Doll.
AJ: So pleasant to hug♡
FD: Hey, are those wounds okay?
AJ: Huh!?
FD: Tee-hee :p ♡”
Yeah, I don’t think I’m getting it either..
