I never complained character design where too skinny, just they aren’t as cute as the pony designs and I don’t that outfits. Maybe complain they look the same is hypercritically of me sense I like the galaxy girls design. I just like the galaxy girls look more though and they’re skinny.

Is there any so-called “Relavant” points about why EQG should be hated besides character design and story?

Thing is, DRB is a fanmade animation that wasn’t made as a commercial cash-in, does not affect the show in any way (and yeah don’t give me this “EQG is non-canon” crap either, i’m not talking about that.), wasn’t a waste of time made by the main MLP writers who should be writing MLP:FIM Season 4 and not this shit, and does not carry any consequences for the show in general if it’s a “success”.
 
Also who the fuck is arguing that it needs to be “more realistic”? If you’re going to beat up a straw man, at least have it say something halfway relevant.

All I see are people crying like little girls over something that isn’t fully released yet.  
The Brony fanbase is filled to the brim with nitpickers over character design, and babies who cry when they don’t get their daily dose of fanservice.  
Or the only reason why people hate EG in the first place.

People only prefer Galaxy Girls, because it’s Lauren Faust. If Equestria Girls was done by Lauren, they’d be fine with it. That’s just my theory though.
 
Also, funny people complained they’re to skinny, yet the Galaxy Girls are even skinnier.

Because Milky Way sucks? I read the blurbs and there wasn’t a single interesting thing in it. It felt like teenager show with planet themes whacked in with a hammer. EG has well defined characters and besides, is wholly owned by Hasbro, they don’t like to do things owned by others.

I only read the last part, why do EqG over galaxy girls? Brand recognition, there is no other reason.
 
You could come up with robot androids who are more interesting than Transformers are but nobody is gonna care about em’. They just want optimus prime.

I’ve been thinking about that lately… Why didn’t they pick up Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls if they wanted a human-teenage-girl series? That image by itself just has way more personality than Equestria Girls.

Well, I already gave my opinion. For me, it’s not about settings, it’s how the writers try to promote one character while demoting others. I wouldn’t hate the if the other ponies(at least the other members of mane 6) also become humans. But it looks like the movie is centered around Twilight, like she was the only relevant character in the show, or at least a “Creator’s pet”.

Do you realize 90% of ponies in the show HAVE THE SAME BODY AND HEAD SHAPE WITH JUST DIFFERENT COLORS, CUTIE MARKS, AND HAIR.

Double rainboom is nothing but shit filled with fan service with poor animation.  
You want to get butthurt about EG? Fine. But that means I’m allowed to get butthurt over DR.

Have people complained about the character bodies and all being the same in Galaxy Girls.  
It will be a boring movie, being honest. Won’t be any different to the tens of other animated movies just like it.
