sorry for late reply, yes that is her horn, and bloom is actually right in my mlp worldbuilding decisions! for my equestria, the pony races arent races but species and is more than three, but these three are the majority of the population so pony xenophobia etc etc,
think of it as if neanderthals, denisovans, Homo Longi, floresiensis, and us Sapiens were all still alive and living alongside eachother

Sure, but are we assuming classical unicorns are just normal horses with horns, or are we assuming they’re a much differently evolved species?
If it’s the later, than pretty much anything goes (and also means they aren’t even in the Equus genus).
If it’s the former though, then you would expect them to follow standard horse biology as a baseline (and thus not have cloven hooves, as horses [and all in the Equus genus] have single-toed hooves; said toe being skeletally equivalent to our middle finger).

Regarding the cloven hooves, I can’t quite tell if Sweetie has a short curved horn or if that’s her ear. If it’s a horn, she’s a classical art unicorn. They have cloven hooves and leonine tails (like MLP kirins). Often (but not always), their horns are curved.

i think that because people going outside and minding their own business is completely different from submitting your creations to, i reiterate, a public forum, i.e. a place where anyone in the world with internet access can see what you made and give constructive criticism if they so please.
uploading your work here was something you did on your own volition and you have to understand what that entails, which is that when you showcase your work in front of a bunch of random people, even within a more defined community, eventually someone will come along and they might take issue with something here and there.
of course, none of this is to defend anyone who decides to use platforms like this to unconstructively tear people down, but it’s unrealistic to expect or demand only positive feedback from a public forum. if you want a complete echo chamber of positive feedback, i won’t take umbrage with it so long as you realize you can just as easily make an invite only art gallery on discord or a private twitter account to do just that. but it’s not something people are gonna want to entertain on here.

If i say i do not want critism, i expect it to be respected, and any belief that you somehow have the right to do it anyways is something i think you should go and reflect on why you think that

This scene honestly makes no sense with these designs.
How would the Cutie Mark Crusaders even form if characters don’t have cutie marks in the first place? And even if there is a reason for them to have formed, why is Gabby here? The only reason she sought out the CMC was because she wanted a cutie mark of her own. If marks don’t exist to begin with, then Gabby would have no reason to seek out the CMC’s help.
Also, from a design standpoint, maybe cut down on the random coat spots/splotches (it’s just visually busy). Also, black pupils are biologically accurate to eyes as a concept, odd that they were changed away from that.
And the colors…
Please, if you change just one thing, use less muddy looking colors.
Dulling down the color in our colorful horses just makes them less eye-catching and more visually boring. Adding colors, like what you did with Scoot’s mane and her countershading, is fine, but there really was no need to alter her existing pallet in the process. 99% of the time canon colors are fine, no need to fix what isn’t broken.
Also on Gabby, the lack of her bright yellow and white colors in the usual places make her really look visually dull.
I like the defined hooves, however Sweetie’s shouldn’t be cloven, unless she’s part swine or bovine (if you look at human to horse skeletal comparisons, horse hooves are basically just a giant middle finger). Also, rhino horn on Sweetie looks a little weird - if you’re concerned about biological accuracy on that, do keep in mind that a Narwhal’s horn is spiraled, so spiraling isn’t an unnatural phenomena.
Oh one more thing: including eyebrows is good. The additional expressiveness they provide is something the show missed out on a lot. (Seriously, in your remake the CMC actually have different individual expressions now!)
