That’s another thing I hate about G5. They totally WASTED the Rainbow of Light.

Despite this proving that the ‘My Little Pony: Generations’ comics are actually canon due to the Rainbow of Light appearing in there, This is a waste of it’s potential. How it’s used in G1, and the Generations comic, were the exact same. They were a strong rainbow beam that could do literally anything, including destroying powerful villains such as Tirek.

But in Make Your Mark, What did it do? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! All it did was trap Opaline….AND THAT’S IT. The Rainbow of Light did literally nothing else to stop Opaline. Opaline was defeated by…her own Togetherness Tree instead. Make Your Mark renders the use of the Rainbow of Light pointless.

It rock fi she was there; and help. I see ehr praise the new MAne 6 for their virtues. And also said opaline had such pwoer and scold ehr for abusing it for personal gain. And if she said to Sunny how she earn it mroe for putting other’s needs before ehr own.

It rock if Megan Williams met the Gen 4 and Gen 5 ones.
It rock id she knew of Twylight’s sins; the Marer Do Well and Walking Dead pranks, the theft of Queen Novo’s pearl, and the betraying the CMC for Cozy Glow… all of which help dark forces includign the Storm King, Grogar and Opaline. And it rock if while many be all for destroying Twylight, Megan believes she can do amends. It also rock if Grogar exploit some law demanding Twilight’s death or Equestria dies, but Megan fills the thing by willing sacrificing herself in Twilight’s place; and revives coz she kept her promise while Grogar broke his to spare the ponies. It rock if the Gen 4 and Gen 5 sing Magic in Us together to help Megan defeat Grogar.

You know, many think that Sunny will be the Twilight Sparkle of the G5, but I think she will be the Megan Williams of the G5. :D

The big difference is that rainbow of light didn’t destroy Opaline like it destroyed Tirac.

the Mane 6 and Starlight created the Rainbow of light in the G4 universe during the G1 and G4 crossover in the comics, so Twilight helped Sunny even though she wasn’t there
