Equestria Daily shouldn’t make the drama bigger then it is.

Ah, that sounds actually workable. Their gameplay is vastly different, but on the whole X and Sonic share similar themes. See, that’s how a decent crossover/AU works, they both need to compliment one another.
While I have absolutely no faith in EqG, this is going too far.
I lost interest in it for awhile after “Endgame” as well, but got back into it once they got a new writer several years back. Overall, it’s improved in my opinion, and yes, it still has some ties to the game canon, and SatA.M. canons (and has characters from both of course still) as a nice bit of fan-service, while also having some unique things of it’s own. Overall, I enjoy the series, but some Sonic fans on DA give me crap about it, so I’ve been kinda afraid to talk about anything “Sonic”-related lately…
Right now, they’re doing a crossover with the Megaman comic book series, and it’s actually surprisingly amusing. :) (I suppose it’s better then a “Sonic meets Megaman” crossover game. That wouldn’t work well, with how differently both Sonic & Megaman games play.)
wait, you still follow sonic?
Axer isn’t on there anymore?
What’s been going on recently? Any tie-ins with the games (or, heaven forbid, muchly needed improvements) or the tv show?
Because I kind of stopped follow Sonic entirely somewhere around Sally’s fakeout death.
It’s really nothing new in “passionate” fanbases… Ian Flynn the current writer of the official Sonic comic, while he gets alot of praise for his work on the series, (and improvements/fixes he made) he also practically gets “death threats” from Sonic fans every day, for not writing the comic 100% how they want. He says he’s used to it. (I think he’s better then the previous writers personally.)
The folks at DHX are probably used to fan-drama to.
You wanna talk about a cartoon being a defective piece of merchandise? Watch Strawberry Shortcake for a hour, or a Bratz movie, or maybe even one of the endless Air Buddies movies. Then come talk to me.
Be pissed all you want, doesn’t make it right, like your little PETA example there.
which you can be pissed off at people about. especially if say, you’re a PETA person pissed at someone testing shampoo on dogs.
Sorry, I meant to reply to Anonycat. Your comment is a bit confusing, though, but that’s okay.
No, just no. It doesn’t matter if you liked what they did or not. The simple fact it’s being means they ultimately did their job.
…That’s what I said, albeit not worded like that.
Don’t fool yourself. If those things hadn’t happened, the fandom would have found something else to bitch about.
People can be upset at other people for DOING THEIR JOBS. It happens all the time in customer service. It happens when mistakes are made. Factory errors. It happens because someone does something you don’t like. Not getting your way. Welcome to the planet Earth.
Blam Boring conversation anyway. Larson, we’re gonna have company!”
Wow, just WOW! These people are ranting about people who just happen to be DOING. THEIR. JOBS! That is just pathetic and mean-spirited. (I’m looking at you Klonoahedgehog and bboifatz). If the show’s cancelled, you’re the ones along with all the other butthurt fanboys’ fault.
Don’t even try that, if the Twilicorn fiasco and Equestria Girls didn’t the fandom wouldn’t be bitching like it is now. At worst it would just complain season 3 was just mediocre.
They knew the fandom wasn’t pleased with the changes and direction the cartoon was taking, so announcing such a drastic (and frankly BAD) spinoff should have ringed a few alarms months ago.
This was a bad choice after other, so the internet backslash was inevitable.
