I also think that Tirek doesn’t fit the character that well. Sombra could be an option, but he wasn’t that well developed. Golly and Chrysi match it a bit better.
Tirek’s smarter then he looks though. He did deceive Discord, taught Cozy about magic draining and was the only one in Frenemies smart enough to figure out that he couldn’t get to the bell alone immediately.
Then he’s doing his job correctly.
