Copper Beech is a doe of 230 years old, but stopped aging at around the age of 45 due to exposure to high levels of raw ambient magic in her original home forests at the base of the Smokey Mountains. She is an eloquent and dedicated seamstress who lives and works in the town of Oataca located in the vast grassy plains of the deep south of Equestria
Physically, she is tall, agile and dexterous, being around the height of Princess Luna, but a lot slighter of stature. Copper is not overly strong physically, but can cope with all normal tasks that are asked of her. However, biologically, nopony can figure out quite where the doe ends and the magic mutation ends.
A doctor at the local General Hospital who examined her was utterly baffled at X-ray and magical scan results, and effectively had no idea where the flesh ended and the magical mutations ended. She bears absolutely no internal similarity to the biology of an Arboreal Deer, and apart from eating, drinking, and toileting as normal, she may as well be a literal alien.
It was only when scan results of both her mother and the walking anomaly known as Permafrost were made available that patterns began to emerge, and this data is still being studied.
Copper is very prim and proper in her manner, and is polite and calm to a fault. Her voice is soft and refined, with a Portuguese accent. She is terrified of wasps and bees, but as she doesn’t leave her home and workplace often, that is not a massive problem for her. It is difficult indeed to get Copper flustered, but her mother still does it just for a little fun.
When she is not working, Copper Beech dabbles in painting landscapes, specifically farming scenes. As she is located in Oataca, she has plenty of inspiration to fuel her muse. She does also have a grey and white pet rat that she has named Billy, and he is a regular sight to find riding upon her head or her back while she works.
It is known that Copper considers herself heterosexual, and she does dabble in the dating game occasionally, though is currently single. She quite honestly couldn’t care less about a suitor’s species so long as she was loved and respected for who she is.
In the rare cases when she is not working or sleeping, Copper can be found enjoying non-fiction books of many different kinds, and very occasionally a few glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon.
