They figured sheer numbers would be enough and they aren’t fans of overkill?
It kind of is.
Why they didn’t use this transformation in the Canterlot Invasion, is beyond me.
Ahah I don’t mind at all, it just confirms that it hit the spot :p
well as someone who prefers more of a large and tanky build in my characters, the design was naturally appealing. i certainly hope you don’t mind so many of us taking a spin on it
Eheh I don’t mind, I was just surprised to see my art around here while making researches and wanted to clarify that they’re far to be as “dumb as a brick”.
I even realized that some people did OC’s off this design, quite amusing :p
Can’t see how.
we call them behemoths, but same concept
They are not only strong but incredibly smart, they basically serve as relay or replacement to the Queen and can opperate more advanced spells and tactics. However they’re complicated to synthetise and recquiere a lot of ressources, so there’s only a few of them and loosing one is generaly a heavy hit to the hive.
The only basic thing they obviously can’t do is infiltration :p
I usually think that a Behemoth’s intelligence varies between individual and that their size and strength comes at the cost of their magic. In other words, they can’t disguise and thus function more as the elite warriors rather than the infiltrators.
funny thing, behemoths are actually typically pretty intelligent.
