I really hope we start getting G4 games (beyond Gameloft) at some point… I’m almost, but not quite, tempted to look this up.

Because it’s G3… Personally, I honestly don’t hate previous generations of MLP, (I admit I sometimes joke about G3 though) I just don’t think they were as “modernized,” or “universally-appealing” as G4 ended up being. (Plus, don’t forget who the target audience for MLP is.)  
Overall I don’t hate G3, but it was a bit to stereotypically girly, and talked down to little girls to much like alot of other merchandise-driven cartoons during it’s time.  
(Even G1 MLP was edgier, and darker then that.)

Why must the comments be filled with generic hate?

I would like that, (I like those games) but Hasbro doesn’t make games. They’d have to license it to a third-party game developer.

Sigh, I wish Hasbro would make a MLP:FIM RPG already. Somewhere along the lines of Harvest Moon or Paper Mario.

For some reason I still see tons of copies of this game at Wal-Mart.

So, what kind of combat style did they go with? I would think some kind of RPG. Are the stock enemies Changelings or Diamond Dogs? How does level progression work? Who do you get to play as? Do you get more then one ending?

THQ will never make a G.4 game.
