It’s been too long since I wrote the story where this thing appears, so I think it’s time I show it! I already showed my concept sketch of it here:

For anyone new, in my sequel series, Flurry Heart’s Story, there’s an episode where Tirek is finally reformed, and one of the first things he does to make up for all his awful deeds is go and plant a new tree where Golden Oaks Library once stood. The story ends with Flurry suggesting that it could be a clubhouse. Ever since then, some contractors have been working on it to make it into an actual clubhouse, and in the next episode, “The Ghost of Grogar,” we will finally get to see it in use!

Now if you’ve read the FIENDship is Magic issue about Tirek’s backstory, you know that the castle his family lives in resembles a treeish structure. Well in my headcanon, the type of tree that Golden Oaks Library is comes from a seed from Tirek and Scorpan’s kingdom. They grow to be massive and are more like several big trees intertwined with tons of traversable holes. You an cut off branches and drill out more holds all over the tree to make it more livable and it will not kill the tree. Such trees make excellent clubhouses. In “Tirek vs Scorpan”, the castle has now grown much bigger due to magic being used to expand it and the castle town has also expanded. GOL and his tree will not grow any bigger, but this is already big enough as is and Flurry and her friends are going to have so much fun in it!
