Scarlet Reverie’s backstory for the Fallout Equestria setting: Her backstory is that she was born to an isolated tribal community of Ponies. One day, she found a book while learning to hunt from a more experienced member of the tribe. Having only a basic understanding of reading the language of Pony Kind before the Megaspells, she found herself learning how to read better, and reading that one book.

Over time, she would find more books while out learning to hunt and survive. And as she figured out how to properly take care of the books she found, she eventually got her cutie mark (A Red Book cutie mark, giving her a special talent in knowledge and history)

As Scarlet got older though, feeling both young, and better informed that her Tribes Leadership. She eventually came to blows for Tribes Chieftain (nothing violent, just arguing). This eventually got her exiled from her Tribe until she both admitted she was, and willingly tossed all of her books onto the village fire.

Scarlet Reverie packed her things, and left, refusing to burn the books she loved. After a time wandering the Wasteland she would collect more books. One day she realized that one of the overlooked victims of the Megaspells were the books themselves. With little in the way of functioning Libraries, and seeing how many books were so far gone from the passing of time in the ruins, Scarlet would eventually come up with a new goal in life. To build, and store as many books in a kind of Fortress Library Settlement, until a new civilization arises.

And that is the short version of Scarlet Reverie’s back story. She loves books, is Bisexual, and fights against the Raiders and Slavers of the lawless Equestrian Wasteland.
