This is good drama. It has all the hallmarks, making a big deal out of nothing, the shutdown of a relatively unknown website among thousands, and talking about random kids messing with you like they’re the KGB in the Cold War.

First they had a massive downtime, then this? This fandom isn’t getting any breaks.

The tulpamancers I mentioned were some elitist/purist types who found the entire concept of the “pony-lover” group we had to be an abomination. It was a member of that society who decided we had to be eliminated, and marshaled the support to harass the admin Derpy and dox the users.

Some of us, like myself and Twilight’s fiance, were in relationships with ponies, but the vast majority of the users where normal cloppers and role players. This had nothing to do with Hasbro, everything can be laid squarely on the shoulders of a handful of people with too much time on their hand to stalk us and our admin for the sole sake of farming for “lulz”.
 
Oh, and don’t forget some pretentious stuck-up tulpamancers who had it in for us because they thought we pony-lovers “created” our partners for the sole purpose of sexually exploiting them!!!

Seeking vengeance is not going to do our community any good as we recover from this setback, though the identity of the trolls is circulating amongst our members and will eventually be publicly known. We need to deal with this on our own, and I hope my fellow Redlighter’s will agree that attacking the trolls is not only futile but little better than what they did to us.
