Emerald asks how Sunshine learned her magical skills. He always thought it was Joyride who taught her.

“I did teach her some stuff, but she already knew a lot before I met her. Didn’t know where she learned those spells originally, and didn’t particularly care really. All I cared was that she was a powerful, bangin’ hot mage. That’s good enough for me.” Joyride says with a grin.

For some reason Emerald remembers the second Joyride wandering around, and asks his Joyride if the compass can be used to find the second.

“Nah. Those compasses lock on to one person only. I would need some trace or essence of her to make a compass. Even if she technically is me, she’s a version of me from another dimension, and that’s enough of a difference for the compass to not work.” The unicorn says with a nod.

Emerald asks if the cottage has always been there, if they built it.

“Sunshine and I bought the land a while ago, and the cottage was already here. The way it looks now actually looks a lot like it did back then, heh…” Joyride says, looking at the house, “We fixed it up and gave it a few enchantments to make maintenance easier. Clearly the spells dropped though.”

The two stare at the half-collapsed cottage for a moment, and then Emerald suddenly remembers his tarot card deck. He pulls it out and asks her to draw a card. A little bemused, Joyride pulls one out revealing the Devil card.

“Devil? If you mean a demon in the sack, then I suppose that’s true.” The unicorn says laughing.

Emerald decides it’s best to tell Joyride about the vision the gem showed him. The one with Larimar.

Joyride pauses for a second, but doesn’t even look back at him and just responds, “Uh-huh. I see.”

Huh, well… He was certainly expecting more of a response than that.
