Pretty much this. The whole series is in the past and there is no course correction and when something was poorly written or poorly executed, we point it out.
There’s no “moving on” if nobody’s hung up on anything. Certain flaws are immortalized in the show, and - while I can’t speak for everyone - we’re still gonna criticize them when they come up. Not a big deal. Is anyone gonna stop making fun of the fly Belloq allegedly eats in Raiders?

Correct. Winter Wrap-Up was heinous. And while you could probably claim that level of danger doesn’t exist for him in a cartoon, it’s still canon that they left him out there - and laughed - to get sick. After he’d stayed up more than 24 hours working while sleep-deprived.
It’s just simple slapstick, no need to get all up in arms over it
Well, he almost froze to death while everyone else just laughed like they didn’t just almost murder a child. Both are terrible.
While other characters got scared, Spike was berated and notably with this pratfall, no one even cared what happened to him, with AJ being the only one to even LOOK at what was happening to it. It comes off as being unreasonably cold to him for no real reason.
In this exact episode you complained about, 4 of the main cast also made a fool of themselves by scaring each other to death. I don’t understand your logic.
Yeah but at that point the pratfalls were more evenly spread out among the cast with nearly an entire episode dedicated to the characters in total buffoonery.
That’s nothing compared to Winter Wrap-Up.
