When Giant Ponies and Creatures Attack - Season 2 Episode 6 - Dark Princess Ember! Philadelphia is in Trouble!
Summary: Princess Ember has once again turned evil and becomes a giant, attacking Philadelphia. With the help from Spike and Smolder, the Mane Six are sure they will defeat Princess Ember.
The Mane Six are fighting against a giant evil Princess Ember in Philadelphia, who has fallen under Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon’s control. The six ponies have been fighting the massive dragon for multiple minutes as the city is still under attack with buildings and vehicles catching fire, some of which come from Ember’s fire-breathing mouth.
“Fighting this evil dragon for the second time is just upsetting!” Rarity told her friends as she used a shield to protect her from the fire coming from Princess Ember’s mouth.
“Boy, this is reminding you for a fairy tale where a king must slay the giant dragon from destroying a castle, a village, a town.” Pinkie Pie giggles while she puts bombs into her party cannon, and then fires it at Giant Dark Ember.
“This is gonna get really dangerous fighting off Ember.” Rainbow Dash tried attacking Princess Ember from behind, hoping she can grab her tail, but the evil dragon soon smacked her back with her tail.
The evil giant dragon laughs cruelly and breathes fire from her mouth burning some nearby buildings in Philadelphia while the people on the streets are trying everything they could to survive her destruction. “This is just sweet, so damn sweet!” Dark Princess Ember said out loud as she grabs the bomb with her left hand and then she throws it back at the Mane Six.
“GET OUT THE WAY!!!” Twilight Sparkle warned her friends, quickly levitating her friends with her magic and placing them to the side to avoid death. She managed to stop the incoming bomb with her magic.
“Not bad for an alicorn…” Ember congratulates Twilight for saving her friends from the bomb. However, she wasn’t done yet. She still has more tricks up her hands.
Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash fly and charge fast forward at the giant dragon at once, preparing for a double attack. However, Princess Ember encountered with a stronger punch and kick of her own, hitting Twilight in the gut and kicked Rainbow down in the back, sending her straight down to the ground, although the pegasus got back up.
Fluttershy was feeling anxious about why it would be such a nightmare in Philadelphia today and it soon got even more worse when she witnessed Princess Ember striking a few buildings in a row with her tail, which all soon collapsed.
Applejack thought about something that can make Princess Ember feel something hurting her, but did not look sure what exactly.
“We gotta do something before Princess Ember kills more people and destroys this city even more beyond what she has already caused so far!” Applejack told her friends, realizing that time is being wasted.
“There’s ABSOLUTELY nothing you six foolish ponies can do to stop me from rampaging all across Philadelphia and destroy everything!” Ember interrupted the conversation Applejack was having her friends before they could even say anything. “I’m gonna give Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon everything they need, and there’s no way you’ll ruin my plans again!”
“We did it before and we will ruin your plans once more, Ember!” Fluttershy starts getting serious, feeling so ready to fight Ember with all the power she has at her fullest.
“Oh, the shy pegasus is showing her more serious side right now.” Princess Ember notices the anger inside Fluttershy is kicking in. The yellow shy pegasus was putting herself in a no laughing matter mood with the giant dragon, which smirked back at her in an evil manner.
Fluttershy’s friends all watch in shock, having never seen her like this before. There was this presence of blue aura surrounding her and it grew stronger and stronger.
“When the hell did you girls see Fluttershy getting this kind of power?” Applejack asked the other four ponies with a confused look on her face. “Because for me, I sure don’t even remember seeing any aura inside Fluttershy, especially when she’s getting angry. I mean, it is so rare…”
“Yeah, this is the first time we’re experiencing her have this such new power that we’ve never seen before today. Like, at all literally.” Rarity said, knowing that Fluttershy is probably getting more power from the people that Princess Ember has harmed.
It was Fluttershy with pure rage inside her heart as the blue aura continues glowing against the evil giant dragon, Princess Ember.
“If you wanna die before every other pony, I’m fine with that, but in the end, this new power of yours will not save you any longer and the rest!” Princess Ember told Fluttershy, considering the power inside the yellow shy pegasus being nothing compared with her huge size. “You’ll be turned into an oblivion! I will crush you!”
“You won’t be hurting anyone… no one…!” Fluttershy argued back with a different voice and it was speaking like an echo, leaving her friends entirely surprised that her voice has completely changed. “You hurt these people and my friends, I’ll be the one to finish you off!”
Princess Ember laughs at what Fluttershy has just said, and questioned the pegasus, “You? Finish me off? Go ahead and try, if you can…”
“Sure! This is gonna be over in a flash!” Fluttershy charged at the evil blue giant dragon at full power and full speed.
“Whoa! I didn’t even recognize Fluttershy so fast like that! This new power within her is making gain not just more power, but even more speed that rivals mine!” Rainbow Dash was caught off guard when she saw Fluttershy dashing herself into the air and fight the giant evil dragon.
Suddenly, Spike and Smolder have arrived on the scene, catching up with Twilight and her friends and they themselves are seeing this strange power that is making Fluttershy much more powerful than ever before.
“What’s going on? And what is going on with Fluttershy?” Spike asks Rarity.
“This is something I never felt before, but she has received some new power that is somehow increasing even more and more which comes from the citizens of Philadelphia that Princess Ember has been hurting.” Rarity explains her reason to Spike about the strange and brand new power Fluttershy is gaining.
“Heh, like I never heard that until now.” Smolder said.
Fluttershy kicks Ember very hard that it pushes her back, surprising the others despite her still a regular size pegasus.
Princess Ember was breathing hard as she easily kept herself together, although she didn’t understand how Fluttershy was so strong enough to strike her with one powerful kick using only one hoof. This angered the evil dragon, growling in anger.
“Damn you! You shouldn’t have done that…! You can’t be this powerful pushing me back like that! Nopony has done that before!” Princess Ember yelled.
“But I have, and there’s always a way where I can give one giant some damage, and I got some more just for you!” Fluttershy told Princess Ember, as she charged at full speed again, giving the dragon more pain, and she would make sure it would hurt a lot.
Fluttershy kicked the evil blue dragon hard in the chest, sending Ember back a little.
Spike, Smolder and the remaining five ponies don’t know how Fluttershy is getting this new energy that is making her being enough to hit the giant dragon so great, but they find that it is the first time they are witnessing this.
“I hate saying this, but… I think me and you should help her out. That’ll make things way more better!” Smolder pays her attention towards Spike, telling him they should assist Fluttershy and they can defeat Princess Ember together as bring her back on the good side again.
“Three against one doesn’t seem bad, so we shall help her now.” Spike agrees with what Smolder is going for and they both fly together to help Fluttershy defeat Ember.
As Princess Ember tried to attack Fluttershy with fire breath first and then her hands, she just missed every time and Fluttershy flying at full speed made her even more angry. However, Spike and Smolder arrive.
“Don’t forget about us!” Smolder and Spike shout at the same time, striking the bigger evil dragon with two kicks as Ember was dealing with Fluttershy.
“You’re not just the only dragon showing up in Philadelphia!” Smolder added further.
“Uhh, you two again?!” Princess Ember, now unleashing her rage upon seeing Smolder and Spike getting in her way once again. “You both are so dead this time, and I’m gonna get my revenge on you both for what happened last time! I will not make the same mistake again. Not now, not ever!”
Spike smirks at Princess Ember, saying, “That’s what you think, Dragon Lord Ember! We will stop you again and return you to the rightful side!”
“Never! I’m not going back on the good side! The darkness is where I truly belong!” Princess Ember roars extremely loud like the famous classic giant movie monster. “I’m gonna strike you two puny dragons and shut you both up for good! You’ll learn who’s the better dragon!”
Princess Ember angrily swings her tail, aiming at Smolder with it, but luckily, Fluttershy caught it with her hooves and she threw her up into the air, thought the giant dragon flapped her wings and keep herself together.
“This pony doesn’t mind her business, does she?” Princess Ember asked herself, figuring out that Fluttershy will never get tired out with this strange power increasing her energy a lot.
Fluttershy was serious and still she’s not done and neither was Princess Ember, who was still considering a way on how she can handle with the dragons without Fluttershy getting in her plans with terminating both Spike and Smolder at the same time.
“Hey, behind you!” Fluttershy shouted from behind.
When the evil giant dragons turns around and try seeing where Fluttershy is, she realizes that the pegasus has moved very quickly before being noticed.
“Cut this game out! I won’t stand for it!” Princess Ember smashed a building with her right hand and stomped on a car with her left foot in frustration after she failed to spot Fluttershy correctly.
However, Fluttershy punches and kicks Ember very hard in the back from behind, catching her off guard. Ember snarls at Fluttershy upon looking back at Fluttershy.
“I never imagined the day Fluttershy could’ve gotten new powers like nothing we’ve had seen in Equestria. This is so intense!” Rainbow Dash told Applejack, who eventually nods as an agreement, experiencing a whole new side of Fluttershy emerging.
“She’s definitely grabbing not just our attention, but also the whole city’s attention as her powers are somehow having no limits even though she’s not a giant.” Applejack comments on Fluttershy’s power boost, which is extremely high.
“Witnessing this is something I wanna remember forever.” Pinkie Pie keeps herself a promise that she will never forget what has happened today. “This is so hectic!”
“Fluttershy! Smolder! Spike!” Rarity called out all three names, beginning to cheer for them all. “Work together and defeat Princess Ember! It is all about teamwork and you three gotta put in much damage to that evil dragon and finish the job! We’re counting on you!”
“Now’s the chance, so get this over with it!” Twilight Sparkle yelled.
Hearing the words and advice given from Rarity and Twilight Sparkle from down below, Spike, Smolder and Fluttershy decided that they must defeat Princess Ember at once.
“Guess we got no choice except take her down and not waste anymore time… Everyone’s counting on us, and they know that this city must be saved.” Smolder tells Spike and Fluttershy, knowing what the plan is and they all gotta do it quickly and save Philadelphia. “I will go first and then you two go next!”
“Got it! We heard you loud and clear!” Spike says, sticking with the plan.
Smolder flies after the giant-sized Princess Ember and kicks from behind, hitting the tail. Spike and Fluttershy soon follow up with another kick, the latter’s kick was more powerful and sent Princess Ember.
Next, Spike and Smolder do a combo attack with punches only and then they perform a tail strike at the same time.
“This… is not… possible…!!!” Princess Ember was not expecting things to be such a nasty day where her plans have been backfiring once again. “I am the Dragon Lord, Princess Ember! I cannot be given this much damage! How are you three able to do this to me?”
Fluttershy decides to make the finishing blow and she flies at the giant evil dragon and she punches Princess Ember so hard that she actually felt it.
The evil giant-sized dragon fell and unconscious as she began reaching the ground. The citizens, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Rarity all moved the way before the enormous dragon landed on the street, shaking the ground.
With Princess Ember laying on the ground, she was eventually defeated and thus was freed from Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon’s control.
Spike, Smolder and Fluttershy fly down and check in on their friends once again, who are all cheering for them for defeating Princess Ember and bringing her back on the side where she really belongs. The blue aura surrounding Fluttershy suddenly has worn off.
“Today, you have shown us something new and it was crazy, but we liked it!” Pinkie Pie hugs Fluttershy as the latter trots towards her friends.
“Just how did you earn that power anyway?” Twilight Sparkle still wants an answer about how Fluttershy ever required such power she hid from everyone until today. “When we all felt the presence of the blue aura surrounding you entirely, you’ve changed completely. You really have potential, Fluttershy.”
“Yeah, that’s something I never thought of myself either.” Fluttershy answers Twilight’s question about where she got this strange power in the first place. “You see, when the people in this city have been harmed, I somehow received some strength and energy from them.”
Everyone react in shock upon what Fluttershy explained to them.
“Oh, so the people Princess Ember harmed made you more powerful when you got angry and serious against the evil dragon.” Applejack understood the words Fluttershy meant.
“Been a while since we all seen Fluttershy behaving serious and showing the angry side within her.” Rarity giggles for the fact that she has not seen Fluttershy on a more angry and serious side.
“Hey, how’s Celestia and Luna doing? Spike asks Twilight Sparkle and her friends about the royal sisters of Canterlot, having missed them for a long time.
Upon being asked, Twilight Sparkle replies with disappointment, “I’m afraid Celestia and Luna are not on the good side anymore! Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon have found a way to get rid of the goodness inside Celestia and Luna, therefore only evil is within them. They are working for them, too.”
“Huh? How did that happen?” Smolder questions with a confused look on her face.
“Celestia defeated us in New York and Luna defeated us in the same manner in London a while back. Those two are really a problem for the people all over the world…” Rainbow Dash explained the situation between her and her friends against the evil royal sisters.
Spike and Smolder react in shock, seeing that they don’t have Princess Celestia and Princess Luna on the good side anymore.
“Y-You don’t mean that this is…?” Smolder asks with a worried look on her face.
“I’m afraid this IS true, Spike. There’s nothing we can do to get them back on the good side. Those two corrupted alicorns have made the Celestia and Luna permanently evil just like how they are.” Rarity comforts Spike, who is looking sad over what he is hearing.
“In the meantime, you and Smolder can keep on an eye on and look after Princess Ember for the next few days because she’s currently knocked out cold.” Pinkie Pie tells the two dragons, as she wants them both keeping Ember safe while she and her friends do something elsewhere for the rest of the day.
“Yes, ma’am.” Spike salutes to Pinkie Pie with a determined expression.
Spike and Smolder both carry Princess Ember using both hands, knowing that she is the taller dragon. Then they let the Mane Six resume whatever they plan on doing for the remainder of today.
The Mane Six wave goodbye at Smolder and Spike, with the latter waving back at them as they know that they will be missing each other yet again.
“Phew, glad that everything’s safe.” Fluttershy is relieved that the city is alright now that Princess Ember is no longer under the evil corrupted alicorns’ control. “I’m still not sure where we should go to now…”
“I do know we won’t be going back in Equestria just yet since it is 11:49 AM right now, but we can leave Philadelphia.” Twilight Sparkle told her friends, deciding they can’t just return to their own world at this time. “There’s still some other things we gotta do something more fun around the real world.”
“Like what?” Rarity asked with a curious look on her face on where she and the others will be going.
Twilight Sparkle didn’t tell them as she rather keep it a secret. She opened up a portal for her friends where they are going to visit a different location elsewhere in the real world.
Applejack walks into the portal first, Pinkie Pie walks in second, Fluttershy walks in third, Rarity goes in fourth and Rainbow Dash goes in fifth, and then Twilight Sparkle walks through the portal last as usual.
The nightmare in Philadelphia might be over, but the destruction Princess Ember has caused will be remembered and never forgotten.
