Last year’s Derpy exclusive was priced exactly as high, and she was basically a mold from Fashion Style line. Those cost only $14 apiece and they come with a ton of accessories, including clothing. Derpy had no accessories and yet she was $50 just because it’s a collectible exclusive.
 
This Vinyl seems to be the Fashion Style mold again. And I highly doubt they used expensive jewelry on her, for all we know the things on her horn and glasses could be LEDs that light up. After all she’s hollow inside, they could have used that inner space for electronics.  
If that’s the case, they really screwed up on the glasses. Would be much cooler if they were from toned semi-transparent plastic with LEDs hidden behind the lenses instead of exposing them like that.

Also, her hooves and sunglasses have Swarovsky crystals. Definitely not toy material and part of the reason it costs $50.

Oh right, these past two years have pissed off earlier gen fans, right?

Statues aren’t toys. her head swivel doesn’t count, she has no nylon hair like or any other play worthy gimmicks. She literally has no play value, thus not a toy.

On the box of this it says it’s not a toy… Incredibly funny when people deny that the toys they own aren’t toys.

No thanks, already have a much more accurate 3D print for $15 cheaper.
