The truth is that they believe that they are facing again the supervillains “Pony Puff princesses” (A parody of MLP in Dexter’s laboratory) since they tried to kill Dee Dee for dressing like a military… if you are interested in seeing the origin the chapter is called “Decode Of Honor” from Dexter’s Laboratory.

Also, if you look at her comments in the comments of the image on DA, she’s not even consistent why she dislikes ponies, or their fans. Like at one point after she says she doesn’t like ponies, somebody asked her why she’s “anti-pony,” and she responded saying she just hates “bronies.” Then a later comment somebody asks her if she’s “anti-brony,” she says no, she doesn’t hate all the fans, and that she just doesn’t like seeing ponies everywhere when searching for things online.
 
It’s really confusing what her stance is…  
Still, I guess it’s best to overlook the “hateraid,” and just enjoy the image itself in a kinda self-deprecational humor way.

Look at Pinkie taking it like a champ.

Well, aside from the artist being a li’l anti-pony/brony (judging from their description & comments in the source link) it is a funny parody, and nice nod to ‘90s show “Dexter’s Laboratory.”
