I just got to say: I disagree with the framing here, and to be blunt, that’s just ignorant – just saying this as someone who actually knows the “somehow” and “some reason”, and the fact that it’s actually NOT by a (singular) someONE. What did they mean by “despite all of humanity’s efforts” anyway; what are they supposed to be implying?
The fact that people harrased Abby (Cartuneslover16) thinking she’s actually the ONE that started shipping MordeTwi… It was her fans, she was not even shipping them in the first place! And those people that saw her artworks without context, accusing her of pushing her narrative/worldview, or shoving her* ship(s) down people’s throats – they don’t even know those are scenes from her fanfiction; they’re supposed to be reserved/self-contained.

It’s funny when people become confounded when an anti-MordeTwi content gets added to the MordeTwi fan group; I think they didn’t care, it was still MordeTwi-related. It’s just strange how people are so annul about it; I don’t get why people act so religiously about shippers and shipping in general.
But even to this day, people still assume or act like MordeTwi is just another kind of Pooh’s Adventures BS – that it had no reason or explanation for its existence. That’s not even the case; there are other ships out there that actually fit this assumption/description better, yet they don’t get as much hate or lampooning (per the amount of attention they get).
