Another weird fanfic idea: Carol Anne gets sucked ‘into the closet’ like in the original movie, but instead of ending up in the Netherworld she ends up in Equestria. The ponies look after the kid while her frantic and unknowing parents try everything to get their little girl back, like using the parapsychologist and psychic from the movie.
 
But all they do is to get Discord’s attention, and he’s bored, and messing with them looks fun right now… so there go all the events of the movie

In fact, the very premise of the Equestria Girls bring a toy franchise, and their “alien” skin colors, make me consider writing a science fiction story about them (or a race of EqG clone soldiers) as Space Elves launching an alien invasion. Perhaps inspiration can come in the most unlikely places!

Cute, I do mean that, but given the way horror writers and producers love to ‘corrupt’ innocent things, I wonder how long before we get an expy of ‘It’ that uses the ponies to bait some kid in?
