Those of us using 4chanX will get automatically redirected to that archive when linked to a 404’d thread on 4chan anyway.

If you grab the image from URL derpibooru automatically assumes the link to the image to be the source. While for 4chan images there is nothing valid you can put in the source as the thread is bound to 404.

When providing 4chan as a source it’s usually better to link to the post in the thread rather than the image. Images 404 after a while, but the post may still be viewable via one of the archiving sites.
